Thus Egwene could very well already have done that at the end of TGS off-screen (i.e. between chapter 46 and the epilogue), and the next time we see them Gawyn will simply be mentioned as being her Warder. Otherwise Egwene will most likely do it very soon in her next chapter in ToM.

In any case, I don't see how it could be revealed till then that Gawyn is a channeler, so that he might learn how to channel & bond Egwene (instead of her bonding him), as the original poster suggested.
