Managed to keep to their stedding through the Breaking and aren't affected by the Longing. The Longing only came because the Ogier in the Westlands lost their stedding for a long period of time. Either way, the Ogier are honored in Seanchan, and can do what they want pretty much.
The past is just that, the past. You can only truly live by looking to the future!
