But that begs the question why is Hawkwing's sword found in a scabbard with the red and gold dragon?
Nobody called the creature on Rand's arms, or on the Dragon Banner, a dragon. IIRC, Rand was wondering if the creature was a dragon or not after seeing the banner a few times, and the same went for his arms. It's essentially a snake with legs and hair that people call a dragon for its association with Rand. Before Rand, the only ones who knew about it were the Aiel, and the only real defeats Hawkwing ever had were against the Aiel, so I doubt he knew about how they marked their clan chiefs.

Good question, I'm not sure, tho if I had to guess I'd say just the scabbard *NM*

My thoughts exactly. The sword is the only part that makes sense as coming from the Prologue. *NM*

Hmmm... not Rhuidean - I'm betting the farm on it being Guaire Amalasan's scabbard
