How boring is that? It's like if Rand refused to ever touch the Source. It also seems completely unrealistic...if I woke up one day and found out I could communicate telepathically with an entire species...I would be like OMG PARTY TIME. Not to mention he's far too stubrron, often unrealistic, and too broody. I don't think we've seen Perrin smile since book 1.
