Stepping out of reallity

Seeing another forsaken doesnt automatically mean death.

Something struck so much fear into him in that instant that he screamed out "NO". Not only did he know his killer by sight but he also knew what this person would be doing to him based soley on him seeing this individual.

If it were another forsaken, naturally, he would have tried to talk to them first before totally losing it with his "NO" exclamation. Would have tried to bargain with them.

As you can see, we can clearly deduce that it was NOT another forsaken. You're not giving RJ enough credit if you think he would write Asmo's response like this merely upon seeing another forsaken.

It couldnt have been a gollum because this doesnt fit the "How and Where" criteria RJ gave.

So - We know that it wasnt another forsaken. Not a gollum. This leaves Slayer.

Asmo knew Slayer by sight. I am sure he thought frequently about how the DO probably viewed him, Asmo, as a traitor. He probably thought about his eventual demise frequently. Wouldnt the idea of the DO using the Shadow's assassin have crossed his mind? He knew that it was a matter of time before the DO had him off'd. Setting all of those probable thoughts aside, he knew that him seeing the shadow's assassin meant he was being "dealt with".

Even a fool can see that it was not a forsaken based on Asmo's reaction. Even a fool can see that it was Slayer.

Anyway, stepping back into reallity. I think all of the theories on Asmo are compelling. This is why we cannot figure out who the killer was. The other suspects cannot be eliminated. The layout above is why I lean more towards the slayer theory.
