In LoC we have Semirhage tormenting an Aes Sedai and her Wader trying to find out how the bond between them works. She kills the Wader and the Aes Sedai starts to lose it.
Later, Super Fade himself shows up to check on her progress.
Why does the DO take such an interest in the Bond?
Could be the DO just wants to know how it works since that wasnt something the AoL used or knew about. But one would think that Ishamael would have come across this during the 3,000 years he was hanging out.
Or....
Because Semi was to capture Rand or get captured herself to get close to Rand to bond him and then use that bond to turn Rand to the Dark Side. Seems like a plan Ishy or Moridin would try out...and this was really the first chance the Shadow had to get another Female Forsaken near Rand.
Tear this up if it sounds too far out there...but I just finished rereading LoC and want to know what Semi was up to
