Mesaana seems to have reacted little and poorly to events leading to the Tower's reunification. Then there's the fact that she completely neglected the valuable resource that was the Black Ajah, which may have resulted in the loss of a good number of channelers for the Shadow on the eve of Tarmon Gai'don.
