Are you denying that Egwene stated that the only sister in Salidar who could match one of the Forsaken was Nynaeve?


Nope, Egwene states that clearly. Gives us NO insight into Egwene's relative strength in comparrison to either Nynaeve or Moghedien.

Are you denying that the text says Nynaeve's potential is a fire compared to Egwene's candle?


Bonfire v. Candle is a statement on AS reaction not actual strength. If it was meant literally Nynaeve would be so much stronger as to be a god.

Are you denying that Nynaeve grew SIGNIFICANTLY in strength beyond the point in time when she matched Moghedien in book 4?


While she's certainly grown there is NO indication that she has shown significant increase in strength since TSR. Incidentally both Elayne and Egwene have grown too. When Egwene notes Moghedien is stronger she is by no means at her full potential either. Unquestionably Egwene is weaker than Moghedien, the amount weaker is the question and in aCoS she's what 80% of her full potential? if Moghedien is at 85 that would make Egwene maybe a 65 at this time... would have had no chance.

Your problem is that you nitpick about syntax and exact quotes when yet can't see the bigger picture.


I nitpick that you change the entire meaning of a quote to suit your argument. We're told that Egwene and Aviendha in tFoH could OVERWHELM a female forsaken, this at a time when neither is even close to full potential. You claiming they might be able to match one turns the quote upside down and gives it a totally different meaning.
