I'd get the Aes Sedai 'out there'. I'd make sure that 1/3 of AS were in the Tower at any stage, and 2/3 outside of the Tower.
Grays - diplomacy in foreign goverments
Blues - random tasks assigned by the Sitters
Yellows - clinics in major cities, and research into diseases
Brown - research collection, heading up universities
Whites - help the Browns
Greens - fight in borderland armies against the Shadow
Reds - sole purpose is to work alongside the Black Tower. This includes helping one another, trading information, and research into saidin and saidar.
I'd also remove the three Oaths, but that's me. Egwene is against that policy.
Perhaps it's time to just roll the damn White into the Brown ... they are practically useless on their own
Blues seem to be nothing more than Politicians and could probably also be folded into other Ajahs based on their skill sets. You could use them as Diplomats if the Grey was relegated 100% to the Judiciary function.
Reds, I like your thought, but I also think that task could actually go to the Brown/White leaving the Reds to act as Channeler Police. Given how many more Channelers are out there now it seems like there needs to be someone out there making sure all these people are behaving ethically! No Compulsion being used to get a better deal at market and whatnot!
Greens, what I was getting at in my original post was using the Green to consult/coordinate the various Channeling forces in the military. Given how many Channelers are out there it's totally likely the world will have more wars which will have Channelers involved. Greens (theoretic) expertise in using the OP in battle should be put to good use!
I'm still holding out hope that now that Egwene is out from under Aran'gar and Siuan she'll go back to her original feelings about the damn Oaths! If not perhaps something will force the issue somehow ... keeping the faith until the bitter end
Egwene seems rather recalcitrant regarding this idea. It's idiotic. Even Nynaeve and Elayne can see it, but Siuan worked on Egwene for too long and imbued her with a rubbish ethos conscience.
The channeling police sounds like a good idea. They could also test all women for the ability. That would certainly put them to good use - filling up the Tower.
