Halima is described as pretty much an average sized woman darius_sedai Send a noteboard - 07/06/2010 02:32:04 PM
If Aran'gar is much smaller than Balthamel. And as said, Balthamel's body might already have been better than what he actually needed to access all of his OP potential.

But if you would put super strong channelers like Lanfear, Rand or Ishy in a much smaller/less capable body, it might reduce their strength somewhat.

Although not perfect, this is IMO the best explanation we have yet, because the others make even less sense or were ruled out by BS.

Let's assume that makes her 5'5" ... which would make her about 120lbs (described as being slender and lush at the same time).

Balthamel (when he wasn't wasted away to nothing) as an average sized man would be 5'9" and about 160lbs.

Lanfear as a "tall woman" would around 5'9" and about 130lbs, Cyndane is maybe 5'2" and probably around 110lbs (possibly more since her boobs are always noted as huge).

Note that Balthamel would be 35lbs larger than Halima (about a 25% reduction in siz) and Lanfear about 20lbs bigger than Cyndane (15% reduction in size).

I based on an average BMI calculation for men and women. Since none of these people has ever been described as either "stout" or "rail thin", I think it is safe to assume that Balthamel lost significantly more size than Lanfear did.

Did the Finns take Moiraine and Lanfear's strength in the OP and swap them? - 05/06/2010 09:05:37 PM 1695 Views
Post some Cyndane quotes. I thought she was still far more powerful than Mo - 05/06/2010 10:30:02 PM 854 Views
