Dude, he was one of the Forsaken! darius_sedai Send a noteboard - 07/06/2010 02:54:20 PM
Balthamel didn't have such a great OP potential that this drop would play a role.

His potential would be off the charts compared to what a woman could handle. Even if he was a 90 potential to Lanfears 100 I bet he was still stronger in how much power he could draw into himself. Just not as effective.

RJ noted that there were several levels of male strength above the top level of female strength. AND he's noted in the BWB as being "quite strong in the Power" ... in fact his strength in the OP seems to be about the only reason he was noticed at all in the AoL. Odds are he was stronger than any female could be... as most if not all the FS men are likely to be ... note Rhavin's comments:

TFOH
The First Sparks Fall

"Is he really so strong?" Rahvin asked quietly. "This Rand al'Thor. Could he have overwhelmed you, face-to-face?" Not that he himself could not, if it came to it, or Sammael

Clearly the FS men believe they are stronger than the women, which is probably true, though as RJ tells us deftness counteracts that making someone like Lanfear more effective than say Bathamel or Rahvin.

Did the Finns take Moiraine and Lanfear's strength in the OP and swap them? - 05/06/2010 09:05:37 PM 1592 Views
Post some Cyndane quotes. I thought she was still far more powerful than Mo - 05/06/2010 10:30:02 PM 787 Views
