I always took that scene to indicate that while the Creator allows access to an unlimited power source that could extend life if used moderately, the Dark One allows access to an unlimited power source that would drain your life while making you want to use it more.

I didn't take it to indicate that the Dark One was more powerful than the Creator; only that the Dark One was more willing to destroy or corrupt people it gave gifts to while the Creator gave you a measure of it's unlimited power, but not enough to automatically lead you down the path to destruction.

I assume you meant the True Power and One Power, not Shai'tan and the Creator? Because as I've said before, including in the post you just replied to, I do not believe either of the deities is more powerful than the other.

As for the True Power, it seems as though both in Ishamael's battle with Callandor-wielding Rand and in Rand's own use against Semirhage, the True Power is greatly more powerful than the One Power, though this may be in great part because at any given time, the One Power is likely being used by thousands of people, and the True Power completely unused or used only by one.

Even if we discount the bias of Rand's perception, he still says in The Last That Could be Done:

It gave him such strength as he'd never imagined. It rivaled, even, the power he'd held when drawing from the Choedan Kal.
