I was a bit confused as to why your post was a reply to mine. I figured this:
I didn't take it to indicate that the Dark One was more powerful than the Creator;
meant you thought that I held that view, so I meant to correct it.I just was responding when you implied that the Creator may have diminished power from making reality, and might be weaker than the Dark One. You had also said that based upon Rand accessing the True Power and his emotions doing so that it was laughable to think that two mortals could match Shai'tan, which seemed to be confusing the emotions involved with having access to one of the Powers with whether both halves of the One Power working together could exceed anything the True Power could do. It just seemed to me that the balance of the One Power was that both halves working together became stronger than either apart, so depending on what the plan was, Rand and Lanfear could have used their respective Choedan Kal to do something beyond the True Powers' capabilities, and through lashing out at the True Power, defeat the Dark One. Based on that, it sounded like you were saying the Dark One was at a stronger place than the Creator was, whereas I didn't get that from the scene.

But Shai'tan is operating as though it's about the goal, not the journey. *NM*

I don't agree with many of these people - I think the bad guys have plausible agendas
