I like it.

But is it possible? I mean it sounds like getting rid of bird's wings but still allow the birds to fly. You can put birds into an airplane, but still...

It is hard to say what is possible and what is impossible with the DO. Maybe communication with the DO is the key, given how miscommunication is the key scheme in the series? Maybe an agreement can be reached with the DO. But RJ has said that there is absolute evil, so I doubt it will come down to this.
