Nyn is wrong, you can heal the same wound twice. Semi can, like removing scar tissue, which could actually be considered a close parallel to siuans case.
I think that Semi would put you in suspended animation, and then heal you as others have postulated about how Alivia will help Rand.
I'd assume to remove Sammael's scar shed make it so he couldn't feel what she was doing (in her case obviously she wouldn't) but whatever the case, and then cut him again, or scoop out that bad flesh and then heal it over with new flesh.
As we've seen being dexterous and then strength are the most important aspects of healing, much like a current surgeon except I'd guess stamina instead of strength.
Suspend + Recut + male healing, or perhaps 'correct' healing and not just which sex does it, and bam you're healed.
