A Seanchan (Ergainien) woman who thought that all channelers were evil and should be forced to to be leashed, has decided that only channelers who act as criminals should be turned into Damane.
Several Sul'Dam have admitted that they can channel and have asked to be enrolled as novices. -Despite the fact that they have a deep-seated cultural hatred for all thing Aes Sedai, and admitting that they are channelers means that they are everything they fear and hate.
All in a short time when dealing with people they hate and fear.
What might happen to a devoted group if lead by a figure that they trust and accept? Especially after they've already shown cracks in their conditioning?

A Blood Feud that nearly came to an end just before the Aiel war, ends now when they are suddenly presented with their Messiah... not that big of a shock.
Several Sul'dam who had no other options... Reanna forced the ones in Caemlyn to admit it over weeks of conditioning, and even then she wasn't sure it would "stick" and Renna, Bethamin and Seta knew they were busted since they were held by the a'dam ... and Renna wound up dead rather than face reality.
The Children are nothing EXCEPT hatred of the Shadow and thus AS and Channeling! It's their entire purpose to exist. They don't just believe AS are manipulative douche bags like the Seanchan do, they believe that having the ability makes you a servant of the DO by default. They would immediately look at Galad as inherently evil and thus no longer a Child of the Light.
Domani Drag Queen in the White Tower ... Aran'gar watch out!

Is there anyone who *doesn't* think Galad can channel?

It is just describing what a person goes through in a heightened sensory mode. He can't channel. *NM*
