Far from being a threat, I expect Galad to come to like Perrin, who also strives to do the right/honourable thing. It's Perrin who runs the chance of being the aggressive one toward the WC at first, especially when he sees Bornhald and Byar with the group.
I suspect the fact that Perrin rescued, gave shelter to Morgase, and then fought to save her from the Shaido (well, Faile actually, but I don't think it will matter to Galad) while not knowing who she actually was will weigh heavily in his favor with Galad. Possibly the fact that Perrin knows Egwene and Nynaeve may help too, but his charity towards Morgase I think will earn him some respect from Galad.
There are other minor things, for example while Perrin is considered Dragonsworn, he's not in it to rape and pillage, and he's even actively tried to stop atrocities and bring Masema to heel. And the fact that Perrion is Dragonsworn not out of a love of violence or such, but out of loyalty to a friend. These things may also positively influence Galad's attitude toward him.
