(b) Morgase is right there when it happens and recognizes her son. She stops the fighting and they have a touching reunion (in which she rightly bitches him out for wearing her former rapist's costume, as well as joining a group that would burn her and the WT at the stake).

Perhaps not, Morgase already knows Galad is in the WC, Niall was using the fact as a point of leverage over her, while ensuring the two did not meet.

And Lini was serving in the tent when Tylee mentionned Galad and the WC "deserters" riding hard north in KOD. Not only Morgase's group know Galad is a WC, but they will know beforehand who this group of WC is. It's not bloody likely Morgase keeps silent and let the WC fight Perrin's forces. It's not so likely either Morhase would be beside herself with joy at the idea of ending up with the WC again, Galad or not. We've also yet to see how the battle of Malden has changed Morgase's opinion of Perrin.

I agree, Perrin and Galad apparently rather allied. - 22/06/2010 11:51:56 AM 496 Views
