Idea 1: AoL and War of the Power, thus getting to know all the Forsaken, LTT and Ilyena, and the Aiel and Ogier before the breaking. I suppose I would prefer this one of RJ were the author.

But since he is not...

Idea 2: The next age, where the familiar names, places, etc. are legends. You know, the one where Thom is the hero, and nobody remembers Rand al'Thors name correctly.
