Remember, most Aes Sedai in the Tower actually think Cadsuane is dead after she went in retirement. A few of the senior level Sisters may have gotten reports, but it always seemed to me like Cadsuane would die before she ever saw the Tower again.

You forget, Egwene has the best spy network in the world at her side. Siuan reported to Egwene about Cadsuane in CoT. So Egwene not only knows that she's alive, but that she's working with Rand as well. Siuan also shares her suspicion that Caddy might be Black (something Egwene worries about).

Then, we have Adelorna mentioning her as if she were alive. Following that, there's Merise telling the Rebel Hall that Cadsuane asked her to come there, news of which reached Egwene.

Lastly, when going through Verin's list, Egwene mentions that Cadsuane was not in it, showing that this was a matter of concern to her.

Given what she's probably gotten from tons of people about the "legend", plus her knowledge that Caddy seems to be the closest AS to Rand, you can bet Egwene is paying attention.
