I have been saying for the last few years that Mat will not wear his ter'angreal into the tower. He knows he may die and won't want to waste the ter'angreal. Instead he will give the medallion to Elayne before he leaves.

Thom doesn't appear to have his harp.

Otherwise can't gleam too many details from this cover. We already knew about the gold dagger.


Based on the prior bad covers i would say that this cover does in fact show Mat's medallion--that big round silver cloak pin (circle with a cross through it). How sad if i am right.
