Whether you believe that it is fiction or non-fiction or a little bit of both, there certainly are a boat load of characters. How often are names repeated? It seems to me that in the New Testament, quite a bit, but in the Old Testament (which has a lot more characters), I don't recall a lot of repeated names.
At last, I have an apostrophe!
