I imagine we will finally see Mat's two Aes Sedai on a balance scale prophecy come to fruition in ToM. I'm not quite sure how this would play out, but my thinking is that perhaps following a portion of Verin's instructions would prevent Mat from rescuing Moiraine, leaving him to choose which letter to follow. Do any other possibilities or possible candidates come to mind?
