So, what do you think about Oliver? Is he an instrument of the Aelfinn and Eelfinn? He did come into the story just after the trip through the doorway and arrived with the game Snakes and Foxes.

Or...Is he the reincarnation of Gaidal Cain (the younger)?

Is he an incarnation of an ancient enemy of Matt? Perhaps one of the forsaken in a child's body?

What do you all think?


It just seems to me that there has to be more to him than the obvious. Jordan never wasted a character. Besides, didn't Matt have a vision of Oliver killing him in one of his previous lives?
