I suspect that Taim joined with the shadow sometime after he came to Rand and the Black Tower, not before.


But dont you think it is interesting that Taim shows up in Caemlyn in the Lord of Chaos (i believe in this book the DO tells 'Dred to let the Lord of Chaos rule) and in a later book see Taim in the Black Tower saying, "let the Lord of Chaos rule"?
