I agree here, though I do wonder if he's really burned some bridges with the Clan Chiefs.
Yeah. I don't really remember all the details of their bizarre honor system but I guess Rand has "toh" or whatever it was. Still, one would expect that the chiefs, being leaders, would be smart enough to understand that madness caused by the taint is not really Rands fault and be open to reconciliation. If Rand has LTT's memories then that may help, both in leadership experience and through memories of the ancient Aiel that may be of significance to the current Aiel.
And I agree here. I do really wonder if Rand is in trouble with some of these men. People like Flinn and Narishma have been only loyal and have really gotten nothing for it. I wonder how he can rebind them to him and make them WANT to work with him rather than just be scared or feel obligated out of duty rather than love.
Yeh. Though it just occurred to me that from a certain viewpoint, the asha'man might actually be very forgiving. Those close to him atleast. Remember they are male channelers themselves, and as such would likely be far more understanding of what the taint can do to you than most. And they already know about LTT from Semirhage.
Do other people (as in, not darkfriends) know about the TP's existence? I don't remember this stuff. You don't hear Aes Sedai talk about it.
I don't think even the darkfriends know. This knowledge is limited to the forsaken. However Moridin or someone could easily reveal to the world what Rand did. And while not everyone would believe it, those around him know that he DID escape from the male a'dam in some way without using saidin.

I love this line of analysis, but Mat does tend to treat channelers like people
