Mazrim Taim has always been rather obvious in occupying the opposite or at least more shadowy ends of the moral spectrum than Rand, whereas, as with Demandred, Logain and Rand seem to be on the same side, with Logain being only a bit weaker than Rand, a bit less known, and a bit less successful...just like Demandred was to Lews Therin.


Actually, I see Logain turning on Rand at some point. Rand has been blindly ignoring his warnings and generally playing the fool when it comes to the BT. Logain will get sick of this, and is clearly unhappy with being used as an errand boy. His reaction to Min's prophecy reveals the ambition which drives him. Narishma might be a potential leader for the Ashaman, but I think Logain will not last that long without clashing fatally with Rand.
