IMO, if Brandon is answering that Rand and Taim both looked dark because of the True Power, then I think it is absolutely conclusive proof that Taim is Moridin, which has always been a strong theory.

Umm, Why?

It could be that Taim is Taim, and has just touched the TP causing the aura. I know Demandred claims that TP is now reserved to Moridin alone, but for all we know there could have been an exception made for Taim for some reason.

Heck, given that all the forsaken seem to know and recognize TP, maybe channeling the TP is a part of swearing to the DO or something. If true, this could merely be a clue that Taim has actually been made "chosen" by the DO. This could also be what BS referred to when he said there would be further consequences for Rand from touching TP. Maybe Rand is now half-forsaken. Maybe the next time myrddraal or trollocs attack him, they will suddenly stop, see the "chosen mark" on his forehead and then bow to him and obey him.

On the other hand, he may be confirming that the dark aura is present in both of them, and not really commenting on the TP. I never personally thought that the darkness was due to the TP but rather a warped twisting of the Pattern. It's possible that the Pattern twists darkly around Taim too because he has a large role to play for the Shadow before the end.

Did BS not confirm somewhere that Rands dark aura was "partially" caused by touching the TP?
