I've posted before my thoughts behind a pure creator-aligned power, which is at the opposite end of the spectrum from the dark-one-aligned power.

If true, then the One Power would reside smack in the middle of the two ends of the spectrum and represents the balance between the two extremes. The nature of the two halves and symbology associated with each half helps this proposition.

Consider that the True Power is a pure and unified power coming directly from the dark one's essence; and accessing it is based upon a special and direct interaction with the dark one. In the WoT universe of balance, it would make sense that there should be a similar thing on the opposite end of the spectrum. A pure and unified power coming directly from the creator's essence, and accessing it is based upon a special and direct interaction with the creator.

My prior posts offered the idea that access to this power is reached by the way of the leaf -- aligning yourself to the extreme side of light/creation. Merit to this idea can be seen by the Voice (a non-chanelling ability) bestowed upon followers of the Way (who dont have to be channelers). The Voice is shown to be an ability that is not from the One Power. It also is shown to be an ability associated with life and creation.
