How did Moiraine know that Jasin Natael was Asmodean?

How did Moiraine know that Jasin Natael was really Asmodean?
I always had two theories of how she knew this: Either (1) she learned through the ter'angreal in Tear or the one in Rhuidean, or (2) she learned via eavesdropping on Rand and Asmodean in the Waste as Rand's Aiel marched towards Cairhien to stop Couladin. Remember that Moiraine had her special trick of eavesdropping. Also recall that Moiraine either taught her trick to the Aiel Wise Ones or they saw her using it at the very least.
Off-topic: If Moiraine did learn Asmodean's identity from eavesdropping, then some of the Aiel Wise Ones could have known too.

Pretty simple. There was a massive battle of the Power and then suddenly a bard became Rand's pal.

Also add to that, that Moiraine knew her Cycle well,.. the Karaethon Cycle that is.
