After Rand learned how to ward his dreams she decided it was okay to start listening in on his conversations again. (There's a scene of her doing that in Fires of Heaven when Egwene walks in).


This. She's clearly eavesdropping on his conversations with Asmo, and she was doing it on a regular basis. Eventually she pieced it together, and probably figured out that Rand had forced Asmo into the role, which is way she did nothing about it.
