As for the physical "errors" of Min, does it matter? There is no actual picture of her in all of the books, nor is the description of her enough to draw an exact image of what she looks like. And those "plastice surgery lines"? Wrong, I can totally see they are shadows/lashes/shading work.

And if you look at the blown up image on dragonmount, u can see Semi's dusky skin tone behind the veil. Pretty awesome, IMO.

I LOVE Michael Komarck's artwork. He did alot of work for Magic the Gathering (TCG), D&D novels (Eberron, omg, sooo good), and let's not forget his Malazan pieces.
