1) Alivia - Nynaeve stated that Alivia was stronger.
Actually Reanne Corely noted that Alivia was "considerably" stronger, but at the time Nynaeve had not yet hit her full potential so it's possible that Alivia is only a little stronger when Nynaeve is at full potential.
Alivia is stronger than Nynaeve, numerous people have said and thought it.
2) Sharina - Also that Sharina was stronger annoyed Nynaeve
Nynaeve hasn't even met Sharina in person ... Egwene tells us that Sharina has more potential than Nynaeve, but doesn't quantify the amount.
Well Egwene knows Nynaeve's potential and Sharina's potential, thus she qualified that Sharina's is greater.
3) Talaan - Nynaeve dueled Talaan who is young and has not reached
her potential at all yet and after a little bit of pushing
from the Sea Folk she was shielding Nynaeve even while Nynaeve
was _holding_ the Source. We know that this means she must
have been significantly stronger as shielding someone who
is holding the Source is much harder to do unless you are
significantly stronger. Plus Nynaeve stated that Talaan
had not even reached her potential.
You are all kinds of off base here. First we know that Talaan's potential and current strength are almost identical to Nynaeve's ... it's stated that "Talaan "approaches" Nynaeve. In addition, Talaan has been actively channeling for about 5-6 years (she's 19) in a system that isn't as slow as the AS, it's entirely possible that she has reached her full strength already. And finally, Nynaeve was also able to shield Talaan in the same scene, they are very close in strength.
Nynaeve stated/thought that Talaan would be stronger than her once she reached her full potential. She would know better than we would.
4) Nynaeve
I think she's stronger than Talaan personally, but it's possible she's a bit below too.
5) Egwene - I chose her instead of many others, because of all the other
channelers it seems that she would most likely reach her
full potential as she was being pushed harder than any of
the others. Being a damane was one of the 'forcings'. The
other thing is that when Egwene said she couldnt have faced
Moghedian she was much weaker in her potential, so now that
could have changed.
Cadsuane could also be #5
Strength is not a subjective measure. We've been told flat out that at least Tamela and Viendra are each stronger than Elayne (who, along with Aviendha and Metaara, is equal in potential to Egwene)... now it's possible that in potential Egwene (et al) is beyond T & V since Elayne made the strength comparison before she was at full potential, but odds are T & V are actually stronger.
As far as we know there has never been a direct reference to Egwene's strength in comparison to Moghedien, but Egwene did note that Nynaeve was the only AS strong enough to match one of the Forsaken, which would indicate that Moghedien is stronger than Egwene.
It is stated that Cadsuane is not as strong as Egwene, I believe in the Glossary of ACOS.
I'm iffy about #5 anyway, but if I had to bet on who would beat who in a fight with the Power I'd take Egwene over Elayne, Aviendha, Metaara etc etc.
As far as the other 3 that depends on whether Lanfear and Cyndane are considered to be 1 person or 2 people. If 2 people then it would be Lanfear, Cyndane and Grandael. If considered as 1 person then it would be Lanfear/Cyndane, Graendal and then Semhirage/Mesaana/Osangar. I dont think one of the other 3 is a lightsider.
Osan'gar and Aran'gar are both Male Channelers and thus do not count in this ranking. Sanderson has stated that Mesaana is one of the weaker female FS and hinted that Nynaeve is a touch stronger than Semirhage (although he did seem unsure).
IMO Lanfear, Alivia, Cyndane, Graendal, Sharina and either Someryn or an unknown woman are the 6 above Nynaeve. If Talaan was in fact stronger I think someone would have made the direct comparison as they have with others.
