Well, Rand only killed him once BlackAdder Send a noteboard - 23/08/2010 07:08:48 PM
he saved time and the universe from being obliterated, then yes. Of course, it is foreshadowed that Rand will do the same thing and, frankly, something more impressive, so... yeah. How about we give this bout to LTT, then hold the rematch after aMoL?

Rand has better 'feats' against the top tier Forsaken, he has killed almost all of the top tier ones and Ishamael twice, LTT never. So if Ishamael was the LTT of the Forsaken and Rand killed him twice, LTT never did. That makes Rand more deadly than LTT.

and it was pretty weaksauce, too. He just stabbed him with callandor, no fancy weaves, nothing. He didn't even know what he was doing in T'A'R, it was LTT working in his subconscious that even gave him that chance. Even Rand's skill with the sword is inherited from LTT - I mean how realistic is it for a shepherd who never even saw a sword to become a blademaster in like a year? Many of Rand's early successes really hinged on LTT working in the background.
