There is no evidence that Graendal is more skilled with saidar than Lanfear, and Lanfear is at least two 'levels' stronger than her. Graendal only has a major Talent in Compulsion from what we know.
As for mental stability, how is Lanfear with her unstable temper more crazy than a woman who turns everything into a sex zombie?
I'm saying this here because I'm not up for challenging most of the other posts.

The only reason I think Graendal could potentially have a shot against Lanfear is that she was willing to go head to head with her back in TFoH. Not something she would likely do if she thought she had no shot. Unlike you guys I don't think Lanfear was overwhelmingly stronger than the other top women.
Basically I see the potential for Graendal to win if the circumstances were in her favor, but probably 3 out of 5 bouts go to Lanfear with the Power.
And no way Graendal stands a chance in a purely physical confrontation ... crazy stalker bimbos are notoriously deadly with their hands!!
