In the meantime, I have a theory.
The 3 become one is Mandarb, Bela, and Aldieb. They will lead an army of channeling horses to Shayol Ghul. Their secret weapon is the fact that no human knows how to read horse literature, so their prophecies have been kept secret all this time.

The old 3-in-1 is going to be Mat's spear, Perrin's Axe, and Rand's new Sword. Those 3 objects are special - the first was in an alternate world, the second is modern and was possessed by the DO, and the last comes from older times in Randland. So they will combine transformers-style to form some superweapon that will kill Ishy, SH, and Slayer. Then it will be used to close the gate of Something-or-the-Other, which is actually what Lanfear broke when she drilled that Bore.
I like the pre-book release busy time, but some of the theories are just getting too crazy
