2) If no, then why do you think this tantalizing piece of information was put out in book 1, yet never used?


I think its already been used but it happened off screen to Taim.


We've read at least one PoV from him and when he refers to 'these so-called Aiel' he doesn't sound like your average Third Age channeler gone rogue.
