While I'm not necessarily with Cannoli on the Egwene front, I pretty much agree with him on all points with Logain.
I like Logain as a character, but from Rand's point of view, he's just a jealous guy, and while Taim might not be a nice person, he's CLEARLY a good guy. He's training soldiers for the good guys to fight the bad guys. To Rand's thinking, that makes him about as trustworthy as most anyone else he knows.
Of course, part of the problem with Rand in the latter books was that he was going nuts and losing any sense of good judgement he may have had in the early books. He trusts most people that are no good for him to trust.
I always assumed Egwene would just be pissed with him because he's let the world go the hell in a handbasket. Sure it's an unfair thing to get angry at Rand for, because he's being doing the best he could under exceeding mental and physical pressure, but that really hasn't stopped any woman from yelling at the guy before. Besides, the prophecy just said he would know the Amyrlin's anger, not that it would be justified rage.
