What I like the best about this is that her face looks adult, and she seems like a young woman come fully into maturity. The only thing that could improve this picture would be to see a lightning strike, hail blast or fireball actually nail the raken, but I like to think the light and smoke surrounding her is the remnants of an attack she just sent forth before this new opponent confronted her, and that point of light right in front of her is the beginning of a directed blast of lightning created by flows rather than called from the sky. The collar is a bit strange, since I always thought of the Novice dresses as being quite plain, but even the New Spring series had details on the dresses that were more elaborate than I thought they should be. The sa'angreal looks great, too.

I'm impressed by this artist, overall.
