My gut feeling says it does.
I agree.
As for strength, I think all their kids will be between Rand and Elayne in strength.
Agreed here as well, except I think that their son would be stronger (likely significantly so) than the daughter. I think both children will be stronger than Elayne...and my theory is that both of them will be quite a bit stronger than Elayne due to Rand's strength being factored in (and he is massively stronger than Elayne).
If Rand had hooked up with, say, Nynaeve, then I think their children would have been stronger channelers than Rand and Elayne's children will be. In fact, I think if he had had children with Nynaeve, they might be near his strength.
As for children he has with Min, I have a strange idea about that...
I think the chances of them producing a channeler is a great deal lower than him producing a channeler with the other two (probably minuscule), but I almost feel that, if they *did* produce a channeler, the child would be stronger in the One Power than Rand's children with the other two. Not sure if I'm explaining this well or not, but my basic premise is that Min's inability to channel almost negates the chances of her producing a channeler with anyone (mating with Rand likely increases those chances slightly) but that same inability has no effect on the strength of any channeler she might produce and the kid's strength, instead, would be influenced by Rand and Rand alone since that "gene" came from him instead of a combo package. Of course, I'm no geneticist, it's just a hunch based on various characters' strengths (like Nynaeve).
How do you think strength in the Power is expressed in the kids of channelers? Will Gawyn 'dilute' Egwene's genes and produce weaker channeling children?
I think the chances of them having a channeling child are a great deal lower than if she had hooked up with a channeler, but I doubt the kid's strength will be affected by Gawyn's genes...unless he turns out to be a channeler and is weaker than Egwene, which, personally, I think is a distinct possibility.
