with propper endings to each books.

If its a choice between a CoT then KoD or two books with a slightly skewed timeline with one minor character a chapter or 3 too early but not reading like notes from an office stationary annual meeting I'll be going for two readable books over 1 and 700 pages of nip and tuck.
