The Forsaken are afraid of Balefire? Its simple, Balefire is eternal death. We don't have enough conclusive information on Transmigration and its relation to Balefire yet, so most probably the DO can't reach them and transmigrate them. Above all reasons, maybe except Demandred, this is a major reason they swore to the DO.
The Forsaken are more scared of balefire than the Choe'dan Kal...
What if in the AoL they had tried to BALEFIRE the Dark One?
