he seems really prolific, and has a good work ethic.

I really liked Way of Kings but I feel weird recommending book 1 of a 10 book series to anyone.

My feelings on AGoT are well known, and I can't state my opinion of the later books simply because I had no desire to read them after that one. At least with Sanderson I have a "writing sample" and some idea of what I'm getting into with him.
