He is one of those characters that never stops giving us reasons to dislike him. At this point, if he continues with his pledge to kill Rand the next time he sees him, he would be going further down the path of Elaida (even after defying her in so many ways) and away from Elayne, Nynaeve, Min and most importantly Egwene. It takes a special, but somewhat common, breed of stupid to have someone ignore so many of his loved ones and friends in order to proceed down a path that is not only unnecessary, but blatantly wrong.
