Just because Nynaeve may have to do it instead of Egwene (and I'm not sold on that), the theory is still pretty sound, the player will just change.
Plus, maybe there's away to rip Rand out that doesn't nearly kill him and force him to be bonded to save him?
Nynaeve saw Moggy's weave to rip Birgitte out. We all know she can repeat any weave she sees just once. She could show it to Eggy who then adds some Wise One knowledge trick about TAR to rip him out, and bingo!
Also, in the original Conan novels, Valeria is described as strikingly similar to Brigitte (blond, big boobs, still feminine, wearing baggy trousers, knee high boots, and a red sash).
She's originally a companion to Conan (like a fellow Hero), but in the movies she's his lover, and helps bring him back to life after he dies. RJ also wrote him some Conan.
