It won an Ig-Nobel price some years back. Apparently strippers (they investigated strippers somewhere in Central America) make about three times the amount in tips during the week they ovulate, compared to the week they menstruate.
Also, it has been know for ages that nuns in a cloister aligned with their cycles after living together long enough.
