Why the hell would a book have a trailer? Its the most retarded thing I've ever heard of. I can not encourage that sort of behavior. A book trailer? Appalling.
I mean, movie trailers are shown prior to current feature films, but this seems like Con fare and, well, something to post on YouTube for people to link. I guess it didn't cost them much, it's just a woman on a horse against a CGI backdrop, but still, it seems rather pointless. You show trailers to entice people who otherwise might not pay for something, while they're in a setting conducive to changing their minds. Virtually everyone who ever sees this was probably going to buy the book anyway, so basically it's just a big tease.
