If I had to bet, I'd say it has to do with the Wolfbrother who goes feral. That was introduced in tDR, and not really mentioned too often again. And since we know Perrin is going to be fighting the wolf in him in this book, I'm betting he gets close to this, or actually does become wolf-like, maybe in an attempt to save something important.

If I'm right... can you NB me to let me know?
