in the case of asmodean's killer (by the way how awesome would a Professor Layton and the Case of Asmodean's Killer game for the DS be?)
when sammael dies graendal returns to illian to rummage around his possessions
'a pleasant surprise to find much of anything useful with al'thor and those puppies who called themselves asha'man in and out of sammael's chambers in the great hall of the council'
POD, new alliances
in a previous graendal theoy i put forward that she had gone to the palace and a poster (it was BlackAdder ) replied that it was not in graendal's nature to put herself in danger and be so close to rand and being discovered, but here we plainly saw that she has the stones to do that.
or maybe graendal was, as she was doing in illian, rooting through the palace looking for something interesting that rahvin left behind or maybe she was removing evidence of her alliance to him, stumbled into asmodean and blasted him
'dangerous puppies all of them, especially al'thor. and she had not wanted to risk anyone being able to draw a line from sammael to her. yes she must increase the pace of her own plans and distance herself from sammael's disaster'
the 'anyone' probably relates to a member of the forsaken or the DO rather than al'thor, but that doesn't dismiss that she didn't do the same thing in caemlyn
