There was no need for her to do the same in Caemlyn. There was no "Rahvin's disaster", and no connection to her.


She had been part of the alliance that went wrong and would want to make sure there wasn't evidence that she was at fault. She may also have been planting spies in Caemlyn as we know she has eyes on Rand everywhere he's been.

There are plausible reasons for her to have been there and her rooting through Sammael's stuff is a nice illustration of her being willing to do so.
